Hurdang Official Trailer: Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt, Hurdang is based on the story of a Caste-based reservation in India. The movie will take us back to the 1990s when the dreams of upper-caste students were shattered and their opportunities were taken away to give the chances to undeserving students, just on the basis of their caste.
Daddu (played by Sunny Kaushal), who wants to be an IAS officer, is now on the fight for his rights and opportunities. Daddu Thakur is an Aggressive IAS Aspirant who is now shattered to know that his opportunities will be given to those who will score less, who don’t even deserve that position.
As the Hurdang trailer begins, it seems like Hurdang is a romantic love story of Sunny’s character Daddu Thakur and Nushrratt Bharuccha’s character Jhulan. But as the video progresses, we realize that the movie is not just about a love story, it is much more than what the first few minutes of the trailer suggested. The movie is about the fight for the right to equality. The movie is about all those shattered dreams who were killed on the basis of the caste they were born in. Students of the Upper cast were not allowed to get what they deserve.
After understanding the Commission, Daddu then joins Loha Singh (played by Vijay Varma) and takes on the commission. Will he be successful? That remains to be seen.

Hurdang is releasing in cinemas on 8th April 2022. The movie has very intense and political aspects as well. It’d be great fun to watch such a story with romance and seriousness in the same movie. We have seen Sunny Kaushal in Shiddat and Bhangra Paa le which sets our expectations very high for the actor.
