Ray web series: It looks like there will finally be some relief amidst this pandemic. Netflix India rarely brings out good shows for us, but it looks like they have struck gold this time.
Netflix released the trailer for their upcoming show ‘Ray’ and it looked amazing. The show will feature Kay Kay Menon, Manoj Vajpayee, Ali Fazal, and Harshvardhan Kapoor.
I never thought I wanted Kay Kay Menon and Manoj Vajpayee at the same time, but after seeing the trailer I want it more than anything.
Ray is an upcoming Anthology Series on Netflix. Anthology Series features different genres and presents a different story and a different set of characters in each episode.
Ray will feature the story of four people and all of them will be played by good actors. We have seen an Anthology series last year in Ludo. And it was amazing.
And it looks like Ray will be even better than Ludo, so we are in for an absolute treat.

The official synopsis of the show reads “From a satire to a psychological thriller, four short stories from celebrated auteur and writer Satyajit Ray are adapted for the screen in this series”.
The show will feature lives of four persons and their stories. And all of those stories are completely different from each other. Gajraj Singh, one of the cast member, went to twitter and said “Excited to be a part of Ray – an anthology of four passionately curated stories.
Vastly varying in genres, these stories penned and inspired by Satyajit Ray, are full of thrills and a strong emotional core keeping you completely hooked till the end”.
So, the makers and all the people involved are keeping the plot a secret. And I think that is for the best.

Ray web series: As I have said earlier, this show is filled with stars from top to bottom. Ray includes Bidita Bag, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, R. Bhakti Klein, Radhika Madan, Gajraj Rao, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Akshay Kapoor, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, Shweta Basu Prasad, and Rajesh Sharma.
But the main highlight of the show is the main actors of the show. Which include Harshvardhan Kapoor, Ali Fazal, Kay Kay Menon, and Manoj Vajpayee.
We all know how good these actors are. The show automatically becomes a must-watch because of these four actors. I just want the show to release as soon as it is possible.

Ray: What To Expect from the series?
Definitely except some big performances right of the bat. I mean, the show involves Manoj Vajpayee and Kay Kay Menon on the same screen. How can there be bad acting.
The plot of the show is also nice. It is based on the novel by Satyajit Ray, hence the name. So, if Netflix can adopt the story decently, Ray has the potential to become the best show of the year, undoubtedly.
