Everything You Need To Know About RRR: One of the biggest movies of the year gets a release date!!
We have to say that Alia Bhatt is on fire right now. Or, she will be in immediate 2022. She tweeted a picture of her upcoming movie Gangubai Kathiawadi, which is a big project in itself.
But on 2 days later she once again tweeted about another very big project starring her only. Yes, we are talking about RRR. It finally gets a release date after almost two years of hyping up.
Yes, the movie has been awaited by the fans for almost two years now. The first announcement was made in March 2020 with the poster release. RRR got another trailer in October 2020, showcasing the look of Junior NTR in the movie.
Fans loved both of the trailers and were excited about the movie. And the movie was supposed to hit theaters on July 30, 2020, only. But just like all the other movies, it got delayed by the COVID pandemic.
And now, it finally got a release date and we are too excited for that. So, let’s take a look at everything we know about RRR as of now.

RRR Plot
The official synopsis of the movie reads “A fictitious story about two legendary revolutionaries and their journey away from home before they started fighting for their country in the 1920s.”
As you can see from the synopsis, RRR is a fictional story. It will feature two legendary revolutionaries, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju. We have already seen the look of NTR as Komaram Bheem. So, it will be great once Ram Charan’s looks get revealed.
Komaram Bheem is a Gond tribal leader from Telangana who fought against the Nizam of Hyderabad for the liberation of Hyderabad State. And Alluri Sitaraman Raju is An independence activist and a tribal leader from Andhra Pradesh. He was involved in the Indian independence movement, fought against the British Raj.
We don’t have any other information regarding the plot as of yet. Maybe it will be more clear once the trailer gets released. We will update you as soon as some information is released.

RRR Release Date
The movie is all set to release on January 7, 2022. And a very weird and interesting thing is that it will release exactly the next day after Gangubai Kathiawadi. It will also clash with two other movies as well.
Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Bheemla Nayak’ and Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ will also be releasing on January 12, and January 13, respectively. This would make the audience witness yet another three-way clash. Considering RRR’s pan-India reach, it is expected that the two films might back off from the collision. However, there is no official announcement from the makers’ end.
