The Batman is going to hit the theaters soon. It has been 9 years since we last saw a solo Batman movie. But as we all know, the Dark Knight always picks himself once he falls down. And he is looking better than ever.
Ben Affleck was earlier cast to be Batman, but he left the project and after him, Robert Pattinson was chasted as the Caped Crusader. And judging from all the trailers and posters he looks really amazing.
People had doubts about Pattinson, but seeing the first looks and trailer, we think it is safe to say that he will be an amazing Batman. Another amazing thing is that Robert Pattinson’s Bat man will not be a part of DCEU.
He will have his solo run that won’t affect anything that is happening in DCEU. So, the future of Batman in DCEU is still unclear. Now, let’s take a look at everything we know about The Batman movie.
The Batman: Plot
The official synopsis reads “When the Riddler, a sadistic serial killer, begins murdering key political figures in Gotham, Batman is forced to investigate the city’s hidden corruption and question his family’s involvement.”
Batman (2022) will focus on lots of Batman’s villains. And will be a detective movie that will show us, Batman, actually solving crimes. It will be a noir-style mystery, and we have seen before how amazing Batman looks in a noir-style setting.
Many fans are claiming that The Batman will be like “The Long Halloween”, the animated movie. The Long Halloween featured lots of Batman villains and it was a yearly long story. Quite similar to what we are getting in The Bat man (2022).
But Matt Reeves has stated that the movie will focus on the second year of Bruce Wayne as Batman. It will follow the story after “Bat man: Year One” the animated movie. Batman is still young and he is not able to instill fear in the criminals yet.
A series of murders start happening around Gotham and the chase starts. The Bat man (2022) will also touch on Bruce Wayne on a personal level. It will be god-tier character work as stated by everyone who saw the premiere.

The Batman: Release Date
The Bat man is all set to release on March 1, 2022, in New York City and will get a world premiere on March 4, 2022. The runtime of the movie has been revealed to be 176 minutes. Making is just 4 minutes shy of the 3-hour mark.
The Bat man (2022) will be PG-13. Earlier it was reported that it was going to be R-Rated, but it got the PG-13 certificate. But the movie will still feature some really violent and gore scenes so keep that in mind before watching it.
The Batman will be released in theaters exclusively. It will stream on HBO Max 45 days after the theatrical release. The Bat man(2022) will start a shared universe with two sequels and two spin-offs series in the works.
The Batman: What To Expect?
It really looks like one of the best comic book movies ever. The trailer was beautiful and had some of the best shots we have ever seen. It will be a completely dark and gritty movie, the setting where Bat man thrives the most.
