Channel Ayan talks about his childhood trauma and his steps to heal it.
She and her older sister were forcibly circumcised at the age of five and six, respectively, exposing her to trauma during a hypnotherapy session.
"At 5 years old, my aunt and my grandma came to pick us up to take us to another town," Chanel shared with the therapist.
All that I was going to do, and then they took us to this man's house and they tied us to bed and we were circumcised."
I wanted to get married, I had to go back to the doctor and I had to reopen it because it was sewn up, couldn't have sex," Chanel said in a confessional statement.
