Valimai Box Office Collection: Ajith starer Valimai, one of the most hyped movies, had a tremendous start at the Tamil Nadu box office on 24 Feb 2022, bagging the highest box office receipts for the movie makers on day one.
On Thursday, the movie grossed an estimated Rs. 27-28 crores after premiering at about 565 screens throughout Tamil Nadu. The movie’s opening day in the condition is the best ever for a non-holiday debut, and the second-largest overall, after only Sarkar.
The audience has shown so much love for Ajith and the movie. Fans were crazy on the day the movie trailer was released and that joy and excitement were enough to gift a crazy record for the movie.

Depending on the two locations, the opening day is worth around Rs 27-28 crores, which is greater than Master’s (Rs 25-26 crore). Actual data for Tamil Nadu and the top ten open houses will be released later in the day. We will keep you updated with the further collection details of the movie.

In general, the South Indian movie business begins the year on a high note, with a very profitable Pongal/Sankranti season in January. The Christmas slate was washed away by the Omicron menace this year, and the films that were released bombed miserably.
To put things in perspective, Kollywood has released 18 films in the first two months of the year. In Tamil Nadu, Valimai earned more on its first day than the previous 18 films combined. That number speaks for the movie and how much the audience is loving the movie.
