Darlings Official Trailer: Netflix has released the official trailer of the upcoming Dark Comedy film featuring Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah in the lead role. The trailer is as funny as dark and looks as promising as a movie.
Darlings movie is a perfect combination of dark humor and just the right amount of thrill to keep the audience hooked. The movie also features Vijay Varma as Hamza Shaikh, husband of Alia Bhatt.
The official trailer of Darlings begins with Hamza Shaikh declaring that he has decided to leave his wife, Badrunissa, by recording a selfie video on his phone. And thus begins a dark albeit fun journey.
Badrunissa and her mother (Shefali Shah) decide to file a missing complaint to find Hamza Shaikh. Another clip shows Hamza involved in domestic violence and abusing his wife. So Badrunissa decides to treat Hamza just like he treats her, which looks cruel.
“Enough defense, I will play offense now,” Badrunissa says, and she sticks by that motto. She hides her husband in the house, and with more than a little help from her mom, Badrunissa decides to teach Hamza a lesson. Simply put, these Darlings are not the kindest.
The text on the screen reads, “Auraton ka Apmaan, Sehat ke liye Haanikaarak hai”.
Sharing the trailer on social media, Alia Bhatt wrote: “My first film as a producer! So excited nervous, thrilled emotional to share it with you! Darlings trailer out now.”
So Netflix Darlings is produced by Alia Bhatt herself.

Darlings mark the directorial debut of writer Jasmeet K Reen and star Alia’s Gully Boy co-star Vijay Varma and veteran actor Shefali Shah. The film was co-produced by Alia Bhatt’s production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions, and Shah Rukh, and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
