Dual is a science fiction thriller-filled movie about a woman who soon finds out that she has a duel to death with her own clone. The movie has directed by Riley Stearns who has also directed blockbuster movies like The Art of Self-Defence and Faults. The story of the movie is also written by the same person – Riley Stearns. It is loosely based on the 1846 novel – The Double written by Fyodor Dostoevsky.

In the movie, it is seen that Sarah has got through a terminal diagnosis and has just got commissions to get herself a clone to ease the pain of losing out her friends and family members. After her miraculous recovery, she made an attempt to clone decommissioned but it fails, and that lead to a court-mandated duel to the death.
It is an illness that Sarah has jumped into. She tried many ways t reverses it but found no cure. Her double has made herself comfortable in Sarah’s life with no intention of leaving it and still Sarah was struggling to keep up with the new life.
