Mimi Official Trailer: I love Pankaj Tripathi. The man just knows how to find a script that will entertain us all. And once again it looks like he has come up with another amazing family entertainer.
Mimi’s trailer just got released and it looked amazing. It feels like the kind of movie that you will need in this kind of time. The trailer told us everything we need to know about the movie.
Mimi is an upcoming comedy movie. And by the trailer, it looks really funny. The concept of the movie is different from what we have seen so far. And it kind of have “Bareilly Ki Barfi” vibe in it.
And I am not complaining about that because Bareilly Ki Barfi was fantastic and I hope that this movie will be on the same level as well.
Mimi: Plot
Mimi Official Trailer: Mimi will focus on a girl named Mimi(Kriti Sanon). She is a dancer and is from a middle-class family. Her world will change when Bhanu(Pankaj Tripathi) will come with a proposal.
The proposal is for Mimi to become a surrogate mother to Bhanu’s employer Summer and John. She hesitates at first but agrees when she gets to know that she will get 20 lakh in return.
But her world will once again take an amazing turn when Summer and John will deny taking the baby. And Mimi will decide to birth to the child as her own and will deny abortion.
What will follow is an emotional ride for Mimi, that will face backlash from her family, society and will face so many struggles to give birth to this child.
The trailer is insisting on a happy ending and I hope it does that. Because it will make it a wholesome movie, that we are in dire need of during this time.

Mimi Release Date
The movie is all set to release on July 30, 2021. I was expecting an August release date, but the sooner the better. Netflix and Maddock Films will release the songs in the coming weeks too.
The movie will release on Netflix and Jio Cinemas. And it is interesting because the majority of India has access to Jio Cinema right now. I think that the motive is to get as many people as they can to watch the movie.

Mimi Official Trailer: The cast of Mimi looks solid. Both the leads are great artists and we know that from their previous works. Other cast members are also amazing and have worked in some highly regarded roles in their careers.

But the thing I am most excited about is the Original songs & Background Score. Which will be done by AR Rahman. It has been a significant time since we got a movie with AR Rahman’s original score.
Mimi: What To Expect?
I am honestly expecting a family entertainer. A movie that will entertain you and looks really funny. I know that the acting will be really brilliant as every cast member is amazing.
Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi have amazing chemistry and we all know that. So, another movie starring those two is like a treat to all of us.
