Generally, we forget the dates in our History book but have you ever felt how bad would it have been in real life? A very popular and most horrific event we know as the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
On 13 April 1919, a large but peaceful crowd had gathered at the Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab to protest against the arrest of pro-Indian independence leaders Dr. Saifuddin Kitchlew and Dr. Satya Pal.
British, who were ruling India at that time, blocked all the exits of Jallianwala Bagh and open fired at the crowd. Very few or almost no one survived in that attack.
The Sardar Udham movie will make you feel that dreadful event. Udham Singh is a teenage guy who is independent by nature and wants complete freedom from British Government.
The Creators have done a great job by adding perfect cinematography of the events shown in the movie. Scenes seem to be very real and can be disturbing at some point in the Movie. They have tried their best to put all the efforts to make it look exactly it had happened in real.
If you watch this movie, the scenes will be felt even if you close your eyes.
Most of the time Bollywood presents real stories in a crappy way but they haven’t compromised with Sardar Udham at all. The scenes are very real and feel like you are in the Jallianwala Bagh itself.
If I would share my view on this movie in a single line, I’d say that this is an Oscar-winning movie that everyone should watch at least once.
