The Tomorrow War Review: A Pure Action Movie

The Tomorrow War Review A Pure Action Movie

The Tomorrow War Review: It has been so long since we got a pure action movie with no shenanigans. And I absolutely loved it. Yes, the screenplay was dodgy but I didn’t care about that.

The Tomorrow War is a video game esque movie. The movie is inspired by games like Call of Duty, Battlefield, Crysis, Resistance, and many more.

I was thinking that this would be a very fun video game from the start to the end of the movie. The reviews of this movie are exactly what I was expecting them to be.

One thing we should praise Paramount for is that they intelligently sold the movie to Amazon Prime. This movie wouldn’t have done that good on Box office, as Black Widow is releasing next week only.

The Tomorrow War is a pure entertainer, there is absolutely no doubt about it. But, one thing that led the movie down is the script. There are so many plot holes and dumb logic throughout the movie.

There were so many scenes where I was scratching my head because I didn’t know what was going on. And another thing that made me worried about the movie was that Paramount has sold two movies to Amazon Prime previously.

And both of them were bad. but, this time it was not the case and The Tomorrow War is a really good movie in its own right.

    The Tomorrow War: Positives

    Action

The Tomorrow War Review: As I said earlier, The Tomorrow War is one of the best action movies in recent times. It felt more like a video game than an actual movie. That was the level of action this movie had.

Chris Pratt was amazing in those action sequences and so were the other cast members. Not only the action scenes were good-looking, but the choreography was also amazing as well.

I can’t see any other movie beating The Tomorrow War in terms of actions any time soon.

    Over The Top Movie

See, sometimes more is better. The Tomorrow War was filled with ridiculous scenarios where the protagonists survive against all odds multiple times. And I loved all of those scenes. Because it was a dumb action movie that didn’t have to be a technical masterpiece in any sense. So, enjoy this movie for what it is.

    The Tomorrow War: Negatives

    Nothing New

The Tomorrow War Review: Don’t get me wrong, The Tomorrow War is a good movie. But it doesn’t provide anything new. We have seen so many movies over the years about alien invasions.

And when we have a legendary movie like Edge Of Tommorow’ on the same subject, the bar gets really high. And The Tomorrow War doesn’t provide anything new in that sense.

It is a pretty generic movie with all the tropes we have seen so many times. It is not bad in any sense, but it sure takes the shine of the movie.

    Cast And Characters

The main problem I got with The Tomorrow War was that there was not a single interesting character. The only character I liked was James Forester, played by J.K. Simmons.

But he didn’t get any valuable screen time. So the character didn’t grow on me. And even the cast members weren’t much of a help either. None of the cast members did significant work and all of them were just kind of alright.

The Tomorrow War: Is It Worth It?

YES! Even after all the inconsistencies and plot holes it is still a solid entertainer that can be perfect for a chill weekend. You can just watch it without worrying about anything in particular.

So, The Tomorrow War can be a perfect one time watch movie. You can watch it and just forget about it and sometimes that is the only kind of movie we want.

So, this was our ‘The Tomorrow War’ review. What did you think about the movie? Let us know down below. And for more series reviews and movie reviews, keep following Web Series Review.
