Vidya Balan Jalsa Release Date: The premiere date of Bollywood actress Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah’s film Jalsa has been announced. The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video next month.
The premiere date of Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah’s film ‘Jalsa’ has been revealed. This movie was on hold for a long time now and it was decided in the past that its OTT platform would premiere but the date was not given. Now the final date is out and the film will premiere on March 18, 2022 on Amazon Prime Video.
Lead cast of Jalsa, Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah shared their first look poster of their film ‘Jalsa’ from their Instagram accounts and shared the premiere date of the movie. It is being told that Vidya Balan is in the role of a journalist in this movie and Shefali Shah will be seen in the role of a cook. The film is a story of struggle narrated through the life of a journalist and his cook.
Apart from Vidya and Shefali Shah, Rohini Hattangadi, Iqbal Khan, Vidhatri Bandi, Gurpal Singh and Manav Kaul are also playing some of the major role in Jalsa. The movie is directed by Suresh Triveni who also directed Vidya Balan’s Tumhari Sulu. This film is produced by Bhushan Kumar.
It is worth noting that before Jalsa, her two films ‘Shakuntala Devi: The Human Computer’ and ‘Sherni’ were also released on the OTT platform. In this way, this will be the third consecutive movie of Vidya Balan which is going to be released directly on the OTT platform and not in cinema theaters. The special thing is that all these three films of Vidya Balan went to Amazon Prime Video.
