Thor: Love And Thunder – From Poster Leaks to the latest update! Everything that you need is here. So, we are close to the most anticipated MCU movie of 2022. Thor: The Love And Thunder release date is coming close, and there have been lots of rumors recently regarding the movie.
The latest rumor that spread was the reported “Poster Leak.” And trust me, the poster looked good. And with MCU being very defenseless when it comes to leaking, it was believable for the most part. For those interested in further details, english laundry offers an in depth analysis of the movies development.

Was The Leak Real?
The poster spread like a Wildfire on the internet like everything else, and almost everyone believed it was real. But in the end, it turned out to be fake. Taika Watiti came out and tweeted that the poster leaked was fake.
The leaked poster was not an MCU Esque poster in any way. But considering it is Taika Watiti we are talking about, the sign was believable. He even said that he might have done the same poster if he had been in charge.
Who Is The Villain In Thor: Love And Thunder?
Thor: Love and Thunder will introduce one of the most fearsome and strongest Marvel villains ever. Gorr, The God Butcher, will be the main antagonist in the fourth movie of God Of Thunder. From his origin story to his motivations, everything is fantastic.
We won’t disclose every detail about his origin story as it might ruin your movie’s experience. You can read the source materials (Comics) to know exactly what happened with Gorr.
But, just like his name, Gorr has taken an oath to kill every single God in the world, and he will stop at nothing. We will discuss Chirs Hemsworth’s future in MCU and Gir’s involvement in that very soon. So, read it till the end.

Who Will Play The Role Of Gorr in Thor: Love And Thunder?
Another good news for everyone. It will be Christian Bale that will play the role of Gorr. And just like that, Gorr is already my favorite villain in MCU. After Green Goblin, because Willem Dafoe is just godly.
We all know how good Christian Bale is. And if Taika Watiti handles Gorr’s character sensitively, we might see one of the best villains ever in a Comic Book Movie.
What Next For Chris Hemsworth?
We have to talk about it because it is a pressing matter. It will be Thor’s 8th movie in the MCU if we look at numbers. And his fourth solo movie. And that is the most by any MCU hero. Almost every original “Avengers” have either retired or died.
So, we might be seeing the last of Chris Hemsworth as Thor as well. Certain factors make this theory believable. The main antagonist has “God Butcher” in his title. And we all know that Natalie Portman will take the mantle away from Thor in this movie.

We will also see Thor in Guardians Of the Galaxy 3. And I think that this will be Chris Hemsworth’s last hurrah as God Of Thunder. We are not sure of anything, but we have to be ready to say another goodbye.
In a recent interview, it was asked whether he would renew his contract like Tom Holland or not? Chris replied:
“How many Spider-Mans has he done? He’s a little behind me. I think he’s done three, I’ve done six or seven Thors, so maybe. As long as they’ll have me, I’ll turn up, but I feel like they might be waning that kind of enthusiasm for me to keep going.”

Thor: Love and Thunder — Release Date
The movie was previously set to release on November 5, 2021. Meaning we would have already gotten all the answers we are looking for. But it was delayed because of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
And after that, it faced four more delays. And now it has finally landed on a permanent release date, and we hope it does not get postponed now. Thor: Love and Thunder are set to release on July 8, 2022, exclusively in theaters.
