Badhaai Do is an upcoming Indian Hindi comedy-drama movie co-written by Suman Adhikary and Akshat Ghildial. Badhaai Do is directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni who also worked for some of the successful movies like Hunterrr and Hasee Toh Phasee. The movie is produced by Junglee Pictures serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2018 film Badhaai Ho.

However, they are bound by societal pressure to get married. Rajkummar Rao, who features as a gay cop, upon discovering that Bhumi Pednekar is dating another woman, decides to convince her to get married so that they can live like flatmates and be with the people they wish to be with.
Both of them decide to get married and thus begin a comedy of errors. Both Rajkummar and Bhumi decide to support each other when it comes to lying to their families or dodging questions about expanding their family. They develop a friendship that is worth cherishing.
