Shabaash Mithu Official Teaser: The unheard story of Women in blue. Famous actress Taapsee Pannu is in limelight nowadays after the trailer release of the Movie Shabaash Mithu. Taapsee will be playing the role of Female Indian Cricketer and Captain of the Cricket Team Mithali Raj.
Shabaash Mithu Plot
The movie is a biopic sports drama of the female cricket Mithali Raj who is also the captain of the Women Indian Cricket Team. The film shows the whole journey from the start and shares the struggles of the cricketer life in male dominant sports. Mithali Dorai Raj, 32 is an Indian cricketer and the Test and ODI captain of India women’s national cricket team.
She is 39 years old and when she was 16 she scored 114 huge runs in her ODI Debut. During the 2017 ODI Worldcup, Mithali Raj overtakes former England, Captain Charlotte Edwards, to become the highest scorer Odis. She made a huge 6000 runs in the ODI format.
Shabaash Mithu Lead Cast & Crew
The main lead in the movie is Taapsee Pannu and she gives the most promising performance as the cricketer, you can clearly see in the trailer of the movie. The movie has a very talented supporting star cast: Vijay Raaz, Asad Ali Palijo, Amit Ghosh, Richard Bhakti Klein, Abhinay Raj Singh. Vijay Raaz is also in highlight for his role in Gangubai Kathiawadi.
The director of the movie was going to be Rahul Dholakia but he got replaced by Shrijit Mukherjee. Rahul has to leave the movie due to film-owning conflicts in the pandemic. Producer Ajit Andhare announced that Rahul has stepped down and Filmmaker Shrijit will take over as the Director’s Chair.
Shabaash Mithu Release Date
The video of the trailer is released on youtube on 21st March and the also shared by Taapsee and Mithali Raj herself on Instagram and Twitter. This movie is due from the pandemic and hit due to coronavirus but now it’s all set to hits the theatre soon. However, the release date of the movie is not declared yet but hopefully, there will be an announcement soon.
