A Thursday trailer showed a little glimpse of what we can expect from the movie. And honestly, after watching the trailer you can expect a lot from this movie. But only if you watch this movie with an open mind.
Many fans are claiming that A Thursday is a sequel to the 2008 critically acclaimed movie A Wednesday. But there is no official announcement regarding that whatsoever. So, just don’t compare both movies in any way.
A Thursday Plot
The official synopsis of the movie reads “When a playschool teacher – Naina Jaiswal kidnaps 16 small students and she puts a series of demands, it not only shakes the Mumbai police and city, but it sends repercussions throughout the country and its politicians.”
A Thursday will revolve around a playschool teacher Naina Jaiswal. Naina kidnaps 16 kids from her playschool and keeps them hostage. And she starts playing games with the police authority. Her real demands come upfront when she asks to meet the Prime Minister of India.
Even though the plot is similar to that of A Wednesday there are lots of differences. On one hand, nobody knew who Nasiruddin Shah was until the very end of A Wednesday. Whereas Yami Gautam has made a national debacle in her movie.

The cast of the movie is quite talented and one to look out for. Other than Yami Gautam there are lots of big-name stars and some talented ones too. Neha Dhupia is looking to make her return to Bollywood after a long time.

A Thursday has gotten a U/A certificate which means you can watch it alongside your family without much of a problem.
A Thursday: What To Expect?
You can expect a good intense thriller movie. The trailer revealed lots of things but it was made really smartly. Even though we got the main plot of the movie there are still so many layers that the trailer set up.
The real plot of the movie will really be something between Prime Minister and Yami Gautam. And how good that will be will define how good this movie will be. We have high hopes for the movie.
