It’s interesting to see a woman leading the underworld because the story is one of its kind. We haven’t seen any movies or show in which a lady with 3 children run the underworld to save her family from her family.
Ram Madhvani, Vinod Rawat, and Kapil Sharma in their direction go very deep into the emotions of their lead characters in Aarya Season 2. There’s longing, revenge and regret all around and they capture the emotion.
Season 2 of Aarya is much darker than the first season. Romances, comedy and all the brighter sides of the story look fade into the dark and serious plot. Sudip Sengupta’s camera follows these people like someone’s stalking them.

Some of the characters from Aarya Season 1 are back – Jayant Kriplani as the aging, an ailing lion still clinging to power, Sohaila Kapur as the world-weary elderly woman who has seen it all, Ankur Bhatia as Sangram, Aarya’s duplicitous brother, Sikander Kher as Daulat, the family loyalist with a chink-in-his-armour, Vishwajeet Pradhan as a hood with conscience, Vikas Kumar as the cop who struggles to do the right thing professionally and personally, and Sugandha Garg and Maya Sarao as Hina and Maya, Aarya’s soul sisters and frenemies, both as effective as before.
