Rocket Boys Plot
Rocket Boys is a historical drama based on the lives of two of the greatest minds to ever grace our country. The story follows the life of Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha and Dr. Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai.
Both of these physicists had a very important role in designing the future of India. Both of these scientists helped developed nuclear energy in India. Vikram Sarabhai is regarded as the father of the Indian Space Programme. On the other hand, Homi J.Bhabha is known as the father of the Indian Nuclear Programme.
Rocket Boys starts from how both of these friends met for the first time. Then show the rift in their friendship and then end with their achievements. It also shows APJ Abdul Kalam in a small role.

Story
No matter what you say, the story of Rocket Boys makes it a very important watch. It is based on the lives of two of the biggest names in our country’s history. Both of them helped design the future of India.
And that is an important watch for everyone no matter who they are. You will learn so many things that you didn’t know before. It is a monumental story that will always be embarked on in our county’s history.
Attention To Detail
I was so impressed by how well this show was researched. From cast to makeup to sets, everything was perfect according to the settings. Even the location of the series are well researched and fits the dynamic completely.
The research done to show us both the Pre-Independence era and Post-Independence is also wonderful.
Linear Tone
The best thing I found about Rocket Boys is that it never felt forced. They had lots of chances to show us Hyper-nationalism, but they never did. And the nationalism scenes were natural and will even give you goosebumps.
Cast
Jim Sarbh is the most underrated actor right now in our industry. His performance in Rocket Singh will show you that only. Both Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh have outdone themselves and delivered some of the best performances I have ever seen.
I was mind blown by both of their performances. You will feel the emotions just by looking at their facial reaction.
Rocket Boys Review: What Did Not Work For The Show?
Romantic Angle
The only low point of the series is the over-dramatization of the love life of both of the lead characters. Especially Vikram Sarabhai’s love story was so long and so dragged that it was really annoying to see at times.
We know that showing the love interest of both of these characters was important. But dragging them on for ages was not the way to go.
Rocket Boys Review: Is It Worth It?
Yes, It is a must-watch show for everyone. Other than the over-dramatization of the romantic angle everything in this show was pure class. It is a masterpiece and you must watch it with your family.
