And judging by the trailer we can see why anyone will think that. Nikhil Advani went to Twitter to announce his upcoming web series.
You can see that he has very high expectations from this web series and regards it as one of the grandest shows ever created in India. And as I said earlier, it looks like that only.

The exact plot of the series hasn’t been revealed yet. In fact, there has been no information regarding anything related to the series as of now.
The thing we know so far about The Empire is that it is a period drama. It will feature the story of the origin of a dynasty and will revolve around the life story of a warrior, adventurer, survivor, and king.

The Empire: Teaser
The teaser showed us a glimpse of what we can expect from this show. It featured a king getting ready for the war. And I don’t want to repeat myself, but it looked amazing.
We got to see the war scene only for a second. But, I can already say that it will be really amazing. The official trailer will be out really soon and it will answer all of our questions regarding the show.
The Empire: Cast
The cast of the show hasn’t been revealed yet. The only information regarding the cast and staff is that Mitakshara Kumar will be directing the series. And it will be produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani, Emmay Entertainment.
Nikhil Advani has been vocal about how challenging it was to shoot “The Empire”, and that too amidst a pandemic.
He said “Bringing alive a visually stunning world with a solid story narrative was the main aim for me, Mitakshara Kumar our director, and everyone at Emmay Entertainment. Right from the story to the star-cast and high production value – our ambition was to create a show that is larger than life; one that leaves a lasting impression on viewers.”
People are already comparing the show to Game Of Thrones and other famous shows. So, obviously, fans are expecting big and so am I.
