This will be Yash Raj Films’ first web series as they announced it on Thursday with other major announcements as well. They also announced that YRF will release five projects in its first year on the OTT platform.

The Railway Men Teaser: We already know the plot of the show this time around. This show is a tribute to the railway workers at Bhopal station during the Bhopal Gas Tragedy in 1984. These workers were the unsung hero and saved so many lives in one of the biggest man-made travesties.
Bhopal Gas Leak, 1984 is considered to be the world’s biggest man-made industrial disaster. There were countless lives lost and we can still see the side effects of the gas leak even after almost 38 years.
The show was announced on 2 December 2021, the same day the Bhopal Gas Tragedy took place 38 years ago.
Akshaye Widhani, the senior vice president of YRF stated that “At YRF, we are constantly trying to develop the best compelling stories for the audience and this is our tribute to the unsung heroes of the tragedy, that took place 37 years ago, who, despite saving thousands of lives on that fateful day, is still unknown to people across the world.”

The cast of the show is really amazing. Only a handful of cast members have been announced so far, but all of them are some of the best actors that our industry has to provide us right now. The main cast of the show is a delight for every fan.
The show casts R Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyendu Sharma, and Babil Khan in the lead roles. All of the mentioned actors are amazing in their work and need no introduction whatsoever. We are just excited to see R Madhavan with another stellar performance after Rocketry.

The Railway Men Teaser: The show will stream on December 2, 2022. Exactly 38 years after the tragedy and it will be a perfect tribute to all the unsung heroes of the tragedy. The number of episodes has not been revealed by YRF as of now.
YRF’s streaming content will be created under YRF Entertainment but we still don’t know the OTT platform that YRF will choose to stream the show. It will be announced with the trailer which we should get by the end of next month.
