Death on the Nile Review: Death on the Nile is the successor to Murder on the Orient Express, initially released in 2017. The film is directed by Kenneth Branagh, who also stars in one of his most successful films as Hercule Poirot. This film has been released with much hype as it’s yet to be determined if there will be a sequel after this.
If enough money and advertising are created for this film, it will likely be a huge success. The first film, Murder on the Orient Express, was a huge success, and everyone wondered about a sequel. Richard Widmark, who played Mr. Ratchett in the first film, is not returning to this film and has been replaced with Kenneth Branagh as he’s hopping on playing Poirot again.
Death on the Nile Review – Plot Analysis
Death on the Nile Review: The plot is set in Egypt, and the Nile river, where Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) decides to take a trip on the Nile River. However, on his boat is Linnet Ridgeway, the second wealthiest woman in the world after Mrs. Hubbard, and her stepson, Hector MacQueen.
The pair have a rocky relationship and are constantly arguing with each other. They are both suspects in the death of Linnet’s first husband, who was found dead during a hunting trip several years back. In addition to that, Poirot finds himself having to look into the suicide of one of his fellow boat passengers (Mary Debenham).
The main plot is set at the beginning of the film, where Poirot takes a trip on the Nile river to help solve the Murder of Linnet Ridgeway with her stepson, Hector MacQueen.
However, things quickly get interesting when he finds something suspicious about Mary Debenham as she is found dead in her cabin by Poirot’s hand. As Poirot attempts to solve this mystery quickly and quietly, he finds himself becoming more and more entangled with Linnet’s Murder.

Death on the Nile Review
Death on the Nile Review: This film received decently good reviews, with people saying it was better than the other one and much more exciting. The film was called an anti-climax of the first one, even though it was outstanding. People enjoyed the spectacle and cast of actors more in this film and thought it was more entertaining than the last one.
However, the film did have some negative reviews, with people saying that it was a boring film and insufficient compared to the first one. They also said that they didn’t enjoy the cast of actors and were disappointing. In addition, the film was too long for them and bored them after a while. If a couple of minutes were cut off of each part of the film, the movie would be much better than it is now.
Some people say that this film will be wrong, while others say it will be good. I think it will be better than the last film because both the cast and the director are excellent. The director Kenneth Branagh is one of the best directors in Hollywood right now; he directed such films as Cinderella, Thor, and Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, critically acclaimed and financial success. In addition to that, the cast consists of some of Hollywood’s best actors.
Audience Reviews
“*spoilers ahead* Loved it! It seemed like the writers were more creative with this film. They used more creative shots and angles, and the CGI was also better. There was even a scene of Hercule Poirot with his mustache that looked good.”
“Kenneth Branagh is back and still great! The first one was very formulaic. A lot of people were expecting something big out of this one, but I think it’s fine if the writers keep it simple instead of trying to do something huge again.”
“My first ever movie review; if your not a fan of the old school detective novels by Agatha Christie, then you won’t find a lot to entertain you. The story’s plot is incredibly predictable; even still, I found myself enjoying it. The property is Murder on the Orient express meets Death on the Nile. It’s got a lot of pros, one of them being I’m obsessed with Agatha Christie novels.

Box office Collection of Death on the Nile
It is expected to open around $10-17 million and have a budget of $10 million. However, it could go up or down depending on the reviews and how people respond. This film could be a hit because of the cast and director, but it could also be a flop for reasons like the ones mentioned above.
Conclusion – Death on the Nile
In conclusion, this film has great potential, and it depends on how people respond to it. If enough people see it, this film could be a big success. On the other hand, if not enough people know the film, it will most likely be a flop. In addition, the fact that everyone is expecting Branagh to play Hercule Poirot again in another murder mystery makes this a very anticipated movie.
