The trailer of Hungama 2 was released on July 1, 2021. And fans have been loving the trailer so far. Obviously, the main selling point of the movie has been the return of Shilpa Shetty.
Shilpa Shetty last appeared in the 2014 movie Dishkiyaoon for an item number. And before that also appeared in the 2008 hit movie Dostaana for an item number only.
So Hungama 2 will be her first proper return to our screens after the 2007 movie Apne. Which was also a hit where she appeared alongside the Deol family.
Now, let’s talk about the movie. Hungama 2 is a sequel to the 2003 film Hungama. Hungama is considered one of the best comedy movies by almost every fan.
The original movie had Akshay Khanna, Rimi Sen, Paresh Rawal, and Aftab Shivdasani in the main lead. Now, as we know only Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav are returning for the sequel. Akshay Khanna will also return in a guest appearance.

Hungama 2 is not only the sequel to the 2003 movie Hungama but it is also a remake of the 1994 Malayalam film Minnaram.
The movie will revolve around a boy name Vivaan. Who is trying to deny that he is the father of his college girlfriend Naina? And in this confusion, Paresh Rawal who will reprise the role of Radheshyam Tiwari also gets involved.
He thinks that Vivaan is having an affair with his wife Radha.

The plot of the movie is like all the other Priyadarshan movies. It will be chaotic and full of confusion. And in between that confusion, there will be moments of laughter and fun.
If we look at it, Priyadarshan thrives in this kind of chaotic movie. So it will be nice to see it as Priyadarshan is also making his return after almost 5 years.

The movie is all set to release on July 23, 2021. Which is Friday. So, if you ask me Hungama 2 can be the perfect weekend watch with the family.

The movie is directed by Priyadarshan. While Anukalp Goswami, Manisha Korde, Yunus Sajawal, and Priyadarshan are in charge of writing. Sanchita Chatterjee, Chetan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Ratan Jain are producing the movie.
The music of the film was composed by Anu Malik while the lyrics are written by Sameer and Rani Malik. Hungama 2 will feature a remake of the hit song “Chura Ke Dil Mera”.
The original song also featured Shilpa Shetty alongside Akshay Kumar. And considering Akshay Kumar helped while launching the trailer. We can say that some pretty big names are associated with the movie.
