Fear Street Part 3 Review: 1666 was released just yesterday and it marked the finish of one of the best and fastest trilogy I have ever seen in a while.
Netflix has released all three parts of the trilogy in the time span of three weeks only. And I can’t thank them enough for it. Because it has been one of the best experiences of my life.
Fear Street Part 3: 1666 Netflix was just like the first two parts of the trilogy. It was filled with carnage, violence, thrill, and is messy in a good way. You won’t get bored for even a single second while watching this.
The final installation of the series starts on a very high note. It certainly ends on the same note too. And you can say that it is one of the most satisfying pay off I have ever seen.
Fear Street Part 3 Review
Fear Street Part 3: 1666 Plot
The official synopsis of the movie reads “The origins of Sarah Fier’s curse are finally revealed as history comes full circle on a night that changes the lives of Shadysiders forever”.
And honestly, this movie really filled all the inconsistencies the trilogy had till then. It solved so many problems and confusion I had with the series and that is what the finale should do.
If you have watched the first two parts of the series, I really don’t have to explain the plot that much. And for those that haven’t watched the first two parts, it might be a spoiler.
So, I really suggest that you should sit down and binge-watch the whole trilogy if you are a fan of horror movies. This series is not your regular horror and has a thrilling flavor to it.
Fear Street Trilogy Positives
Direction
Just like the first two parts Leigh Janiak completely stole the show with his direction. He somehow outshines the performers in the movie with his direction and I didn’t know that was possible.
Every scene feels filled with tension. I was actually able to feel the tension of the movie even when there was no actor on sight. And you lot tell me how is that possible.
I honestly thought that John Krasinski’s work in A Quiet Place 2 wouldn’t be topped this year. And I was completely wrong. Leigh Janiak might as well take the award of best director of the year and I won’t complain.
Fear Street Part 3 Cast
Leigh Janiak might have outshined the cast members but it doesn’t mean that they weren’t good. Fear Street Trilogy has gathered a bunch of amazing actors.
And every single one of them delivered. I honestly think that there wasn’t a single bad performance in this trilogy and if there is I really can’t remember it.
Cast members like Sadie Sink, Julia Rehwald, Emily Rudd, Charlene Amoia, and David W. Thompson gave some of the best performances of their careers.
But, the real gem between all of these was definitely Kiana Madeira and Olivia Scott Welch. Both of their characters are really important to the series and both of them knocked it out of the park.

Characters
Speaking of characters, Almost every character in this trilogy was brilliant. There were very few characters that I can say are bad or boring. Other than that it was always a hit.
Fear Street Part 3 Plot
The real reason for the success of this series is definitely the storyline of the trilogy. From the first part to the last part, the story of the movie never lost its pace.
There might have been few inconsistencies in the first part. But as I said, the final part of the trilogy cleared those as well. So, it can very much be possible that those inconsistencies were intentional.
And I firmly believe that all those inconsistencies were intentional and for that, I would really give props to the writers.
Fear Street Trilogy: Is It Worth It?
I think that it is obvious at this point. YES! The trilogy is absolutely worth it. It is definitely one of the best horror series I have ever seen and there is no doubt about it.
So, just watch this series alongside anyone you want. This is the perfect binge-watchable series for this weekend and you will definitely enjoy this.
