MCU Theory Explained: To show how the Marvel comics can be used by lesser-known characters, Professor X and Iron Man appear in Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness, one of the first Marvel comic books to be written after Avengers 4. Whether they will appear in this film or any other remains to be seen.
That’s why there’s no point worrying about them for now – it could happen either way. But if it happens, then this theory explains how they will fit into the story.

The same will be true of Doctor Strange 2 – which Feige has admitted will begin filming in early 2019. According to him, “We have the basic plot… it’s a story that we’ve been developing for quite some time with the very talented writer of Doctor Strange, and we’re excited about it.”

Infinity Gauntlet #1 reveals how Thanos will try to use this new power to take control of the universe to find out why he lost his family in The Infinity Gauntlet. After that, all of the Infinity Stones will make their way into Doctor Strange 2, which is when the MCU’s version of Thanos will start to shine.
Thanks to his new power and all of the Infinity Stones, he’ll become a potent force to be reckoned with. So powerful that he may even be able to take on the Avengers 4 movie and win! That’s especially true if he manages to take over Earth in Doctor Strange 2 – which looks pretty likely given the way things have been set up so far.
Doctor Strange 2 Is Heading To The Multiverse Of Madness
Marvel fans may not be expecting much from Doctor Strange 2, but that could be about to change very soon. According to several members of the Infinity War cast, this movie will explain how Doctor Strange could defeat Dormammu in the first film.
As Awesome as Cumberbatch’s character will be back in Doctor Strange 2, some fans aren’t so happy about it because he is one of the three-time losers. Feige revealed that they are still working on the story for this movie a couple of months ago and have not released any plot details yet.
However, there was a trailer released ahead of Infinity War, and It clearly showed how Strange became a Marvel villain instead – which only makes sense if he appears in Doctor Strange 2.
Superior Iron Man Could Be A Villain Too
MCU Theory Explained: To add to the depth of characters that Feige and team already have in mind, it could be argued that they have already started casting for Doctor Strange 2. After all, Feige had no problem getting a known actor like Cumberbatch to take on a significant role, let alone someone like Tom Hiddleston.
It’s also worth noting that he is likely to play a villain at some point. After all, his friends are also expected to turn on him in Avengers 4 and later in Phase 4. He has been described as the “Superior Iron Man” before, which indicates that he will fare better than his regular self after the events of this movie and Avengers 4.
Like in the comics, he was once considered one of the greatest threats to Asgard since Loki was defeated. However, Loki himself has made it clear that Tony Stark is even more dangerous than he is – although this was in an alternate universe where he had been an Avenger for years by then.
