    Toofaan Movie Review

Toofaan Movie Review: So, finally, Toofaan got released and I was excited for this movie for more than one reason. I like Farhan Akthar and Toofaan looks like a kind of movie that would really capture the essence of the sport.

It looked like that after Dangal and Mukkabaaz we will get a true sports movie that everyone will like. And by the trailer, it looked like we will really enjoy everything this movie will show us.

And guess what guys, It all came true. Toofaan is a really great movie. And everyone should watch it. No matter what you think about Farhan Akthar, you should watch this movie no matter what.

Toofaan is really one of the best movies of the year and it rarely missed a single beat.

Toofaan Movie Review: Okay, let’s get this straight. If you have watched the trailer you already know the trailer of the movie. The trailer almost revealed the whole plot of the movie.

The movie’s official synopsis reads “Toofaan tells the story of a boxer and the struggles he faces on his journey to get to the national level competition.”

The story will focus on a national-level boxer named Aziz Ali. Aziz Ali was delinquent at first known as Ajju Bhai. He decides to turn his life around and decides to dedicate his life to boxing.

To earn the respect he always wanted. And with the help of his coach Nana Prabhu, he becomes a national-level boxer. But his one wrong decision earns him a five-year ban.

After all, it is not just a physical fight, it is a fight of his grit, his determination, and more importantly, a fight against his own devils.

I might have said that the trailer of the movie might have revealed the whole plot of the movie. But the makers have inserted some twists and turns very smartly, making the movie so much better.

    Toofaan Positives

    Boxing

The story of Toofaan is really simple. You have seen it again and again in so many movies. But the real selling point of Toofaan is the way they have presented us the sport of Boxing.

The way the makers have choreographed Boxing is just beautiful. The training montages, the boxing game, and the dedication of every single actor to the sport are just brilliant.

    Rakesh Omprakash Mehra

You might know Rakesh Omprakash Mehra as the director of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. And he has also directed this movie also. And guess what he has done an amazing job once again.

This is definitely one of the best-directed sports movies I have seen in Bollywood. Rakesh Omprakash Mehra really knows how to direct a sports movie.

He always knows where to focus and what to shot. He never missed an important thing that was happening in the movie. And I absolutely loved the way he directed the matches.

    Farhan Akthar

Now, let’s talk about the reason this movie really worked. It was definitely Farhan Akthar that carried the movie on his back. Whenever the movie was getting slow, he carried it out.

The energy, the dedication, and the intensity he brought to the role were just amazing. You could actually see how much work he has put in to actually learn the art of boxing.

After Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, this is definitely his best role to date. I absolutely loved his role and might watch the movie again just for him.

    Toofaan Movie Review: Negatives

    Final Training Montage

The final training montage of the movie could have been so much better but it felt really casual. I don’t really dislike that montage but they could have made it so much better than it actually was.

That is the only thing that I didn’t like about the movie.

    Toofaan: Is It Worth It?

Now, people might compare it to Dangal and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. So, I just want to say that don’t do that. Toofaan is a fictional movie. And it is definitely worth your time.

Just go and watch it with your family because it is the perfect watch that you could have asked for.
