14 Phere complete details: It has been a really long time since we saw a Romantic Comedy movie by Bollywood. The last good Rom-Com that I can remember is Chalaang that came out last year.
So it will be safe to say that we are getting a good romantic comedy movie almost after a year. At least 14 Phere looks like a perfect Romantic Comedy movie that will entertain everyone.
I mean, it has everything that makes a rom-com movie good. It has a good cast that can pull of comedic roles. The script looks good, and even the songs are really good. So, I am really looking forward to this movie.
14 Phere Plot
14 Phere Plot: The movie’s official synopsis reads “Sanjay, a Rajput from Jahanabad, is in love with Aditi, a Jat from Jaipur. They want to get married but don’t want to hurt their families. So they plan to get married by arranging a fake set of parents. Will they succeed?”
The story of the movie is as old as Bollywood. It is tried and tested the script in general but with a bit of a twist. We have seen opposing parents coming in between two lovers so many times in Bollywood.
Usually, the main lead wins them over. But in 14 Phere, both leads will arrange two marriages to basically fool their parents. And you know what, I am intrigued.
Because the trailer didn’t reveal anything other than the plot. So, we will be in a surprise and I am all in for this movie.

14 Phere Release Date
The movie is all set to release on July 23, 2021. The movie will release on the same day as Hungama 2. So, it will be interesting to see which movie will come out on top. My vote is definitely with 14 Phere.
14 Phere will come out on ZEE5 exclusively. So if you want to watch the movie, you need a ZEE5 premium subscription for that.
14 Phere Cast
I particularly like the cast of the movie. It is vibrant and almost every cast member has at least one amazing performance under their name. The cast includes:-

- Vinay Pathak
- Gauahar Khan as Zubina
- Jameel Khan as Amay
- Yamini Das as Sarla Lal Singh
- Vineet Kumar as Kanhaiya Lal Singh
- Priyanshu Singh as Chhotu Singh
- Manoj Bakshi as Banwari aka Mama ji
Vikrant Massey and Yamini Das just featured in Haseen Dilruba as mother and son. And everyone loved their performance. Yamini Das was the lifeline of the movie in the first half.
Whereas Vikrant Massey gave one of the best performances of his career and he was brilliant. We won’t see that kind of serious role in 14 Phere. But it will be nice to see him on the screen again.
Kriti Kharbanda’s presence alone makes the movie 100X brighter than it actually is. Her vibrant personality and grasp of comedic timing really make her one of the best actresses for Rom-Com movies.
Vinay Pathak, Gauhar Khan, Jameel Khan, and Vineet Kumar are also amazing actors and will surely give amazing performances.
Devanshu Singh is the director of the movie while Manoj Kalwani is in charge of writing. Tanmay Bhat, Arun Singh Dikky, Sumit Khurana, and Vinit Masram are producing the movie.
Raajeev Bhalla and Jam8 are producing the music And the songs that have been released till now are really catchy and good.
14 Phere: What To Expect?
14 Phere Plot: I am really looking forward to this movie. It looks like a proper family entertainer that will be a good comedy movie. The cast is good, the story looks good, the songs are really good, I can’t ask for more in a rom-com movie.
So, let’s wait and see how this movie will turn out. I will obviously watch it as soon as it will come out. And will be ready with a review as soon as possible.
