Brazen Review: A novel adaptation usually works out in the end in one way or another. But sometimes it just falls flat on the face. And that is the case with Brazen. I don’t know how did they manage to get a movie this wrong.
It felt like the makers were trying to complete the movie just for the sake of it. Everything was rushed and so erratic. Brazen involves two genres and none of them were able to flourish even a little bit.
In the end, it felt like a mash of all the typical tropes and none of them worked out. And we really have no idea how is that possible. Alyssa Milano is a great actress, but it felt like even she did not want to be here. Immanence Trailer Promises Us Aliens, Hallucinations, and Lots Of Action.

The official synopsis of the movie reads “When her sister is killed and her double life as a webcam performer is revealed, Grace ignores the warnings of a cool-headed detective and gets involved in the case.”

Brazen Review: What Worked For The Movie?
Cast
The only thing that worked in the favor of the movie is the cast of the movie. Even though they did not have a clear vision they were able to give decent performances. Sam Page and Emiele Ullerup gave really good performances.
Alyssa Milano has definitely given better performances than this in her career. And in certain scenes, she looked out of it. But it was definitely a good performance. I don’t think she is capable of giving a bad performance. Everything You Need To Know About ‘Last Looks’.
Brazen Review: What Went Wrong?
Narrative
Let’s talk about the most basic that went wrong with the movie. Right from the narration, the movie was dodgy. The cut between the scenes was so abrupt that everything seems really erratic. Even the fantasy scenes really erratic for some reason and I can’t really put my finger onto it.
Mix Of Genres
Most of the time when there are two genres in a movie it works out in one way or another. But here nothing really works out. It felt like mixing romance and thriller with each other affected the movie in a bad way.
Mainly because the filmmakers really did not let any of the genres flourish. Everything was so rushed and abrupt that we did not get anything to its potential. The Last Thing Mary Saw Review: This Revenge Tale Is Filled With Blood And Love.
Stereotype
The female empowerment angle in the movie is really good. But the stereotype they created for that to happen was really problematic in our opinion. Every man in the movie except one is either controlling and/or patronizing.
And that is something you really have to take notice of. It was not something to write home about. But it was really noticeable and problematic at the same time. Moonfall IMAX Poster Is A Thing Of Beauty.
Brazen: Is It Worth It?
To be honest, you can skip this movie and you won’t miss anything. Brazen had potential but never really delivered at any point in time. And it was really something that I was not expecting. By the trailer and everything, Brazen was looking like a good movie.
But it was really disappointing to watch it. It was not outrightly bad or anything. It is just it did not have anything to take notice of. It was just a plain bland movie with lots of illogical things. The Great Indian Murder Trailer: Pratik Gandhi, Richa Chadha in Lead of Next Hotstar Special.
