Redeeming Love: Loving someone is hard when you have your demons!! I think 2022 will be a year of love stories. In January alone, we will get almost five love stories. And isn’t that best? I am a sucker for a good love story, and we haven’t got a perfect love story in a long time.
The last romantic movie I liked was Me Before You starring Emilia Clarke. And that was in 2016. But, finally, it looks like we will get the perfect romantic movie that we have been looking for.
I got excited when Universal Pictures released the trailer for their latest bestseller adaptation in October because Redeeming Love looked the kind of a movie that I will adore.
And the best part is that the movie will also talk about self-love. It is not just a typical love story, and it will be so much more than that. And when any romantic film features the concept of self-love in a good way, it is always a delight to watch.

Redeeming Love — Plot
The movie’s official synopsis reads, “Sold into prostitution as a child; Angel knows nothing but betrayal. Can her heart ever be mended? Based upon the novel by Francine Rivers.”
As you can see, the movie is based on a best-selling novel of the same name. Redeeming Love will be set in 1850, California. It will follow the story of a woman named Angel who was sold into prostitution as a child.
She eventually escapes the hellhole and reaches California. She is filled with hatred, self-doubt and her main focus is to survive, and she does not trust anyone. All of this will change when she meets a man named Michael Hosea.

Angel’s wall will come breaking down through the power of Micheal’s Love. And all the hate, self-doubt will be replaced by Love. All her scars will be healed. And the journey that we will see to reach there will be beautiful.
Redeeming Love — Release Date
The movie was initially supposed to release on January 1, 2022. It would have been my perfect New Year as I would have watched it while shedding tears throughout. But because of some unforeseen circumstances, the movie got delayed.

Redeeming Love is all set to release on January 21, 2022. And I hope there is no delay this time around. Now that the cinemas are open, they will release on the giant screen, and I am all in for that.

Redeeming Love — What To Expect?
By the trailer and premise, it looks like a heartfelt movie. It will be a feel-good movie that will make you emotional. And for a person like me who wears his heart on his sleeve, I might shed some tears throughout this.
