Hera Pheri 3: Let us ask you all of you a question. Who does not like Hera Pheri? Yes, that is right, there is not a single hater of the Hera Pheri franchise in the world. No matter how hard you try you won’t find one.
And there is a piece of good news for all the Hera Pheri fans around the globe. The producer for the third installment of Hera Pheri Firoz Nadiadwala just confirmed that the third installment of the series will happen soon.
And furthermore, he also stated that the production is already in place and the third installment will happen soon with the same star cast. Yes, you read that right, the famous star cast of the Hera Pheri franchise will return in the third installment.
It means that Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, and Akshay Kumar will return in the third part of the famous franchise. The story is in place and the production will begin soon. The team is just confirming the final details.
Director Will Be Finalized Soon: Firoz Nadiadwala
Hera Pheri 3: In the latest interview, Firzon Nadiadwala stated that “You’ll get to see it very soon with the same star cast – Akshay Ji, Paresh Bhai, and Suniel Ji. The story is in place, and we are working on certain modalities. It’ll be made in the same way, retaining the innocence of the characters. We can’t take past achievements for granted. So, we have to be extra careful in terms of our content, story, screenplay, characters, mannerism, etc.”
He further opened up about the director of the movie as well and stated that they have shortlisted someone. They will finalize the deal very soon and will make the announcement as soon as it will happen.
Many fans are predicting that it will be Priyadarshan who will be the director for the third installment. And many reports have claimed that as well. If the reports are true, this is another amazing good news.
Priyadarshan was the one that directed the first Hera Pheri. After that Priyadarshan and Firoz Nadiadwala had a beef where both of them commented on each other. Priyadarshan claimed that the producers cut some of his scenes without him knowing and even directed two songs without him.
Whereas Firoz Nadiadwala stated that Priyadarshan made the movie full of depressing scenes and that is why it was cut. And after that interview, it felt like there is no way that Priyadarshan will return to work with Firoz on the project.
But the rumors are suggesting that both of them are on the same page now. And we hope that is the case because both of them can create some magic as we know it. We will update you as soon as something is announced.
The Second Run
Many of you might not know this, but Hera Pheri 3 was on the floor in 2014. There were plans to shoot the third installment in 2014 with John Abraham and Abhishek Bacchan alongside Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal.
There was no Akshay Kumar in the plan at that time. Firoz Nadiadwala confirmed that the news is true and the idea was dropped because the director Neeraj Vora fell ill at the time. Neeraj Vora passed away on December 14, 2017, after being in a coma for nearly 13 months.
At being asked why Akshay Kumar was not in the plans at that time, Firoz replied “That is because the story of that film at that time was different.” He also reassured us that Akshay Kumar is now in plans.
This Is Not The End!!
Firoz Nadiadwala further commented that this will not be the last part. He explained that they are looking at box office collection but that is not their end goal. They want to make this sequel even better than the original one.
“Sustaining at the box office is important. And the moment you take anything for granted, it falls. Because we hope that God willing, we can make more parts – Hera Pheri 4, Hera Pheri 5, etc. And it should be better than the earlier parts. We hope that there will be a new film released every 15 months. Isn’t this how the West operates? Don’t we get a new Spider-Man or Bond film soon after the previous part has been released in the cinemas?”
Firoz Nadiadwala
So, we can see more parts of Hera Pheri down the line if everything goes right. It makes me excited and worried at the same time. And that is the best feeling to have as a movie lover.
